Taylor Swift and the goat...

I am a HUGE fan of Taylor Swift. I don't care how many boyfriends she sings about, I adore her! She is cute, sincere, and funny. And I'm sure, more often then not, most of us ladies can relate to at least a few of her songs. I know I can! Not to mention her and I share the exact same birthday...we were both born December 13th 1989, and I think that is pretty cool! If I could write songs like her, I would! And I would probably have just as much, if not, more songs about breaking up with boyfriends. So, HATERS BACK OFF! ;D
Okay, now that I've gushed about Taylor Swift, let me get to my point..
I don't know if you remember, but a while ago there was a video that was going viral on Youtube. It was a video of a screaming goat.
And pretty soon more screaming goat videos came out! This one being mine and my hubby's favorite..
Okay, now that you know what the screaming goats are, let me tell you how Taylor Swift ties in. As you know, I adore Taylor Swift, and I often sing her songs to myself or listen to them through Pandora, etc. Well, one of her more recent songs "I knew you were trouble" came out, and she rocked it! I LOVE that song. It is so catchy, and although I can't currently relate to it, I can relate to several stupid trouble-some boyfriends I've had in the past.

Anyways, a few months after that song came out, someone put a video of Taylor Swift's song and the screaming goats together...

Of course this video became a viral video and was talked about for a couple of months, and yes it may be funny, and entertaining, and clever for that person to put it together...but what that person doesn't know is that she/he ruined that song for me!!! The other day her song came on my Pandora and I started singing along as usual until...dun dun dun...the chorus was coming up and my mind immediate thought of the screaming goats. I'm pretty sure I held my breath as I listened to the chorus, expecting a goat's scream to infect the awesome song. Thankfully her voice came on, and everything was okay. But what was NOT okay was that every time the chorus was about to be sung, I braced myself for a screaming goat! UHG. Now every time I hear her song come on the radio and I start singing, I expect a screaming goat in place of her beautiful voice!  I no longer look forward to saying, "Ohhh!, Ohhhh-ohhhh, trouble trouble trouble.." I now sing, "AHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHHH, trouble trouble trouble..."
UGH. So, as you see, this is a very sad dilemma...one of my favorite songs by Taylor Swift is now ruined by screaming goats. Sorry Taylor Swift, I love you, I adore you...but I just can't get the screaming goats out of my mind!! I am going to have to find another song to sing along with.
Love, Em
