Spring Cleaning in Summer!...?

So, we are WELL into Summer 2013 by now. It's definitely HOT, and humid...which is weird because this is California, not Florida, or Hawaii...sooooo maybe the weather is having a temper-tantrum or something. I don't know, nevertheless, we are in Summer! Woot! And what do we all know about Summer?! It's the perfect time for Spring cleaning....?? LOL Okay, well maybe not for you, but for me and my hubs it is!

You see, my mister owns his own business which allows him to work from home, and I am a house-wife (which I thoroughly enjoy and LOVE!) Of course, like I mentioned in my last blog, I am now selling Nerium too. Anyways, since my babe and I get to be at home together all day, we also get to start random projects together when most people are doing other things, hehe. So, Spring cleaning in Summer it is!!

I must say, I am very much enjoying this Spring cleaning. I LOVE organizing, and getting things in order. It makes your home much cleaner (afterwards), and it allows for you to see what you're missing and what you can live without. This time we aren't just throwing everything away, we are trying to sell most of it. Since my hubs works all day, it's up to ME-The Incredible Emerald-to go through everything and attempt to sell it all. So, what went from a "project together" became a job for THE INCREDIBLE EMERALD!!...just kidding, but no really. I love my honey, but he is much better at playing and goofing around with the items that I am trying to get rid of. It makes for great entertainment while I am taking pictures, looking up pricing, and posting everything on eBay. It's great fun!

Well, I am not even half way done, but I am enjoying this Spring cleaning, and having an awesome husband to entertain me makes everything that much better. If you ever think you might want to do some of your own Spring cleaning in Summer, here are a few tips.

You will need: 1. A really cool super-hero name like "THE INCREDIBLE EMERALD"

2. Probably a cape to wear to look more like a super-hero

3. A camera

4. An eBay account (which are free) you can also use craigslist, or Amazon

5. A white towel or sheet

6. Things to sell

What to do: 1. Place the white towel or sheet on a bed, the ground, or a flat surface that is clean

2. Place your item to sell on the towel/sheet

3. Take a really cool artist photo or 2 or 5 of each item

4. Make a list as you go of the name of the item, the model, the year made (if needed), the color

5. Repeat steps 2-4 until you run out of things or you start going crazy 

6. Take a walk, or maybe a jog, or drink tea/coffee...you can't be a legit super-hero-seller when you become crazy

7. Post your items on your eBay account

And that's how it's done. Don't ask me how I became so good at what I do, because if I told you, I'd have to flash my really cool cape at you...and you DON'T want that.
